I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Acumatica (Belgrade, Central Serbia) in Sep 2023
Interview
The first step is a screening interview. It involved typical questions - tell me about yourself, current tasks at job, motivation, desired salary. There was a question that i didn't like - what do i think about working long hours.
Last part of the interview involved answering tech questions with being recorded. Again typical questions like indexes, design patterns, data structures, what would i do if some kind of situation had happened. After the interview i was sent a brief assessment that is limited by 2 hours.

Question 1

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Acumatica in Jan 2026
Interview
Absolutely the worst recruiter experience in Montreal, Canada. I am not a fresher, I have interviewed at several companies, and this has by far been the worst experience. After the first round, the recruiter sent me an assessment, which was very easy. After I completed it, she completely ghosted me. Even after following up more than 20 times, there was no response, and I eventually received an automated rejection after two months. It was a total waste of time.
Experiences like this reflect poorly on the hiring process. Recruiters who are this unresponsive add no value, and processes like this would be better off automated rather than leaving candidates in the dark.

Interview
I did not complete the entire interview process. But will share what I know. The initial HR interview is your typical resume walkthrough. If you can match your resume to the job description, you're done. I did not make it past the technical interview part, as I didn't study for this component. I thought we would be doing LeetCode style processes. Instead it was .NET (For the role I was applying for) technical problem solving. You need to memorize all the methods, functions, collections, etc... As there is no code insight, and obviously and form of cheating will auto submit your work. Copy/Paste, etc... is not allowed. The platform is kind of dumb when you practice. You need to code everything. So importing the required System libraries, the actual static void Main()
