I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Adjust (Saint Petersburg, Sankt-Peterburg) in Aug 2021
Interview
Approached by an HR contractor and scheduled an interview with their recruitment manager. After a pretty straightforward interview, they sent me a home task, saying that it won't take more than a couple of hours to complete (roughly 2-3 days), which wasn't even close to how much it really takes to complete if you're still employed and have to do your work.
Anyway, i completed it and submitted, after a couple of days they approached again and i was told that they were "really impressed", scheduled another interview: this time with 2 engineers.
At the beginning of the interview i was again told that they really liked my solution to the home task. Overall, the interview went well, though it seemed like they don't really know what to ask.
After the interview it took them a few days to decide to "move ahead with other candidates", even though the position is still open.
Kindly asked them to provide some feedback (they even encourage you to do so in a final letter) and sent a reminder a couple of days later, but never heard back from them.
I feel kind of awkward now, as i don't really understand what went wrong.
As it's already been mentioned here: such feedback is not acceptable after putting so much time, work and effort to prepare for the interview.
Make a small application that can be used to visualize the SpaceX missions (a continuation to home task): you'll be given with an actual SpaceX API that returns all their missions. Given this API and the data it returns, you should create an application that shows SpaceX missions grouped by year and client

I applied online. I interviewed at Adjust in Oct 2021
Interview
One thing that stood out was the response time from the hiring team and also, you're briefed on how the subsequent stage will look like. The response time at every stage was less than 72hrs, and it was consistent and super impressive.
My overall experience was really phenomenal.
Wishing you the very best if you're currently on the recruitment process :)

A take home challenge to test your JavaScript and react skills, followed by a pair-programming session, and finally, a team fit interview.
It's great to know you received feedback in a timely manner and felt prepared for each stage of the interview process. Thank you for sharing this feedback and welcome to the team ! :)
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Adjust (New York, NY) in Jun 2021
Interview
I have a bitter sweet feeling after completing the interview process at Adjust.
1. Resume Shortlisted: My resume got shortlisted after 2-3 days from application. I received an email saying they gave reviewed my resume and like what they have seen so far.
2. Take Home assignment: In the same email above I was told to submit solution for assignment in 3 days.
3. Screening Interview: They were "impressed" by my solution hence they invited me to the screening interview where they wanted to learn about my background, motivation and people skills.
4. Pair Programming: I was invited for this round where they wanted to test my technical knowledge.
Until this point evrything was great, the process was ongoing for more than a month.
After pair programming round I was rejected. I received the feedback email and I did not like their response. They said they are moving ahead with other candidates who best match their needs.
So after spending over a month with your interview process and spending countless hours preparing, you coming back with this kind of feedback is not acceptable.
In the feedback I dont want hear the typical message saying "we are moving ahead with better match candidates" instead I want hear what exactly I was missing so that I can improve myself.
The final feedback just ruined all the positive experience I was having throughout the process.
Hope you guys improve upon that.
