Introduced by a poor Rec2Rec who underprepared me for what was to come. Initially met with a Manager and HR. The MD was late and I had to restart my discussion. Never have I ever met a more egotistic MD. He claims to be an expert psychologist and "reads into your thoughts" to make a judgment of whether you are fit to be a recruiter or not. Very rich coming from someone who made it to MD not via merit. Shame on him as now I'm still in recruitment and one of the top billers in the business. My best advice would be to be prepared to be assessed. Even if I had succeeded, I wouldn't want to work for someone whom I would get the feeling of being constantly watched.
