I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Aeste Works in Mar 2013
Interview
After the initial CV submission, I was invited to an online test with a broad range of technical questions on programming, communications/IT and hardware engineering. There is no time limit but the questions are very in-depth. I was not able to answer everything, but made a good effort on those in my degree area. The whole evaluation form took me more than an hour to complete
Next, I was contacted for a Skype interview with the Principal Engineer. Again, a few more technical questions based on what I wrote in the online test, but for the rest of the time we had a discussion on what goals I wanted to achieve for this internship as well as how I could contribute to their current project. Overall, I had a good experience talking to the interviewer and he was very forthcoming about the work in the company. The interview lasted about 45 minutes.
