      Operations Manager Interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at AirGarage in Jan 2026

      Interview

4 rounds took about 5 weeks. Rounds 1-3 are with the hiring manager and other team members; Round 3 is a case study presentation. Professional and straightforward. Round 4 was with young CEO. They asked personal questions not related to the position and felt like a personality assessment. 4 rounds and 5 weeks only to get rejected ... young inexperienced leadership that seems to micromanage hiring. Most startups don't take 5 weeks to hire. Seems like they prioritize personality/culture fit over actual qualifications. CEO did not ask any questions related to actual professional qualifications.
