The interview process wasn’t bad at all. It’s pretty straightforward — they mainly want to see that you’re eager to learn, ask good questions, and show genuine interest in the work. As long as you come prepared, curious, and ready to grow, you’ll be totally fine.

I applied and heard around a month later from HR. I set up an interview a week after that with HR. This interview seemed to go very well and I was told this was a new position and I had a lot of the experience they were looking for. I thought we got along pretty well. I was going to hear within a week or so about the potential next round with the CRO. I emailed about 1-2 weeks later to find out status and never received an answer and in fact didn’t ever hear a word back. This was my first real reality check that companies just don’t even bother these days in the current job market. It’s not as bad as if I had gone to other levels but applicants do deserve some feedback.
