Allied Global Services interview questions

I had a referral from an employee, who sent my resume to one of the talent acquisition specialists. I had initial phone screening with her, who then setup a phone interview with the head of department the position would be under. He brought be in for an in person interview with him and a recruiting specialist within the department. He told me to reach out if I had any questions and to discuss coming back in for a potential job shadow. I reached out to him via email with some questions and to express continued interest in the position. I didn’t hear back, so I reached out to the talent acquisition specialist again and she said she’d get in touch with him and get back to me. I didn’t hear back. I waited close to two weeks and reached out to her again. She said she would reach out to him again and hopefully have information for me by the end of the day. I never heard back. After several weeks, I finally gave up on planning to hear anything. I understand companies are busy, but when a prospective employee is reaching out to you, the least you can do is give a simple, straight yes or no.

The interview process initially moved very quickly, phone call, in that week, the 2nd interview the following week, a 3rd interview the following week and was told I would hear something by the end of the week. A full week or so went by and I heard nothing so I followed up. They said that internal candidates also wanted to interview so it may be another week or 2 before a decision was made. Another 2 full weeks and a few days went by, I followed up again. I let another couple of weeks go by and I sent another follow-up email. Still heard nothing, and another 2 weeks later I made a follow-up phone call and I still at this point have heard nothing on if the position was filled or not. I completely understand employee time and employer time are very different and I respect that. However, it would be appreciated if I would just be informed of where things are at. Feb 10th was my last communication with them and I was told it would be two more weeks. It's now been 6 1/2 weeks since that last communication.
