I applied for a job opening in Savannah, GA. I received a phone call for the interview, the person asked me a couple of questions and after my answers he told me that there was no need to go on the next steps of the interview process and he offered me the job. He said I would be working at their Brunswick location (one 1 hour and 30 minutes from my house). I told him that I applied for Savannah but he kept saying that it was only 30 minutes from Savannah. We close the call, and later on I received the official offer and letters to sign, showing Brunswick as my station. I didn't sign and started to do my own researches to find out where exactly is the location. I couldn't find anything. I send emails and left voicemails to the person that run the interview asking for the address of the station, but no answers. Almost a week later I received a text from a nice lady telling me that in 2 days I was supposed to start orientation. What orientation if I idn't sign and accept the job? And I explained why. Two days later I received another email from another HR person saying that they don't have a Savannah station but it's Brunswick and it's 30 minutes from Savannah. I told him that I applied for the job on Indeed and the location on the job description was Savannah, attaching a screen shot of the page. So, I asked again for the address. No answer. The day after he sent me another email wishing me luck for my job search but my application was discarded. But wait, didn't I receive your job offer that I didn't accept? And I invited him to study the Georgia geography and find out how far Brunswick is. If this is the professionalism that they are talking about on their website, better to stay away from this company. P.s.: I still haven't found where their station really is.
