      Facilities Maintenance Interview

      Jun 4, 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Roseville, MI
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Amptech (Roseville, MI)

      Interview

Was actually contacted by the General Manager of their new expansion plant that was being opened up in the Metro Detroit area ( he was the former manager at another company that I was at ) The hiring process for me was very informal because the hiring manager had already gotten to know me at the company we had both worked at before. I only had to interview with the Company owner the next day. This is not how interviews are conducted now. Assembly candidates are brought in through a staffing agency and get a short interview by the plant engineer, then a decision is made.

      Question 1

Since my own interview was so informal I cannot really comment.
