Yet another company demanding an huge technical test without even knowing what they want (or communicating it clearly to candidates). They asked for the design of seven, I repeat, seven products in the technical test: two looks (since it’s streetwear, that obviously means four pieces), an employee kit with two items, a box (three items), and yet another box. This is the kind of company that doesn’t know what it wants and doesn’t respect people’s time. This is free work. Another thing you need to improve is clearly defining what you actually want so candidates don’t waste their time. A collection based on the Hypedrop community. What community? How am I supposed to know anything about your customer when I was given zero information? I can only guess. And the Hypedrop branding? What is it? There isn’t even an “about” section on the website—just a black logo, and that’s it. Regarding the welcome kit and the box: what is the direction? Do you want something in 3D? Do you want a specific type of box? A box with an assembly guide? And the “innovative Hypedrop box”—innovative in what way? In what sense? What is the current unboxing experience so we at least have some reference point for what you’re talking about? It is not the candidate’s responsibility to chase down clear directions for a test that YOU are assigning. And finally, do you actually want someone who is a fashion designer, a packaging designer, AND a graphic designer? Seriously? Someone who does a little bit of everything does nothing well. A fashion designer is a fashion designer, not a branding designer
