I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Anduril (Costa Mesa, CA) in Apr 2022
Interview
Recruiter reached out through Linkedin. Then got set-up one quick call with the recruiter to go over a couple potential roles, then go online to apply to the job. First screen, 1h Zoom call with 30 mins to chat about background then 30 mins to do a live coding problem. Last round is at Anduril HQ with 4 hours back to back (30 mins lunch) with 2 live-coding rounds, 1 system design and 1 behavioral.
I enjoy the experience overall. Recruiting team were so nice and prompt with their communication to prepare you what they could with all the information. Really felt welcoming. The interviewers are professional and communicative. I got helpful feedback during my live-coding and system design sessions. I found the system design round was the hardest since the problem itself is not something I'm that familiar with. I didn't do well in one coding session, but I think this is the matter of practice more LC medium & hard.
I received the courtesy call about final my result and some feedback about my interview. I think the feedback was fair and understandable why I was not selected.
behavioral and technicals in a power day. Leetcode problems and had to dive deeper with follow ups and why anduril is a repeated question so be prepared. good luck you got this
One technical leetcode style question for the first round. Following that was three rounds of technical questions, one focused on APIs, one was more conversational and focused on past experience, one was a leetcode style question with follow-ups.
Fast quick process! The team was very smart but unfortunately didn’t get an offer. The company is still growing so will definitely reapply in the future! Hiring manager was nice as well.
