Went through the interview process with multiple recruiters, technical leads and more, only to be asked to schedule a meeting and then subsequently ghosted when I attempted to do so. I found this outcome to be odd, the lack of communication and professionalism reflects very poorly on this company and it makes me wonder how they actually view their employees. Generally I think that unethical hiring practices are a good indication of how a company treats employees, so it could be that I dodged a bullet here. The Defense/Aerospace industry is relatively small, this kind of treatment will definitely get around and likely make it more difficult for them to attract and keep qualified personnel in the future.
