      Digital Marketing Specialist Interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Annual Reviews in Jan 2026

      Interview

I applied for the position at the very end of October 2025 and I did not hear back from HR until the middle of December 2025. One business day later, I had a screening call which was fairly easy; I was asked to walk through my recent position and discuss about experience using various platforms and tools. Three weeks later (likely due to the holidays), I was asked to schedule an interview with the hiring manager which I did for the end of the week (early January 2026). The hiring manager was very friendly but a bit all over the place in terms of asking questions and follow-up questions. Most of the questions were geared towards personal experiences related to the role as well as basic digital marketing questions. I heard back 3 weeks later (beginning of February 2026) that I had not made it to the last round, which was supposed to be a panel interview with various stakeholders of the organization, mostly talking about how you would tailor or create content for their products. My experience is more catered for communications rather than marketing so I assume they moved forward with marketing-heavy candidates.
