I had a terrible experience with Apex Consulting.
Avoid working with them at all costs.
I had a 30 minute interview with a company on May 22, 2025 with Barb. The interview went well.
I was offered the position on June 3rd.
Which I accepted, and in doing so turned down a separate offer elsewhere.
My start date approached and suddenly, it was delayed.
I had to reach out to the recruiter to get information and it was like pulling teeth, there was no proactive nature to the communication.
It is now June 25th and they have told me that there is no longer a position.
So I've not only lost an opportunity I had and could have started at this point BUT, I've lost out on a month of job searching and applying that I could have done.
The company has terrible foresight if they are able to sign someone on and take it away out of nowhere. What I'm most upset about is the awful communication, and keeping me in the dark.
I signed all of the onboarding paperwork. I even had to fly home from a vacation early to drive out and get fingerprinting done for the background check.
Upon the position being lost, I was offered no alternatives or help in securing a new position.
Avoid at all costs.
