I applied through college or university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Apryse (Vancouver, BC) in Feb 2016
Interview
I applied on school internship job board. Interview was over Skype. The interview felt pretty relaxed, interviewer was very nice. I was asked quite a few general questions about C/C++ (pointers, arrays, etc.) and past projects and school work. Was about 45 minutes, and received an offer right after the interview. Most of the technical questions were done verbally, with some messages over Skype when I needed to write something out to show it in more detail, but there was no coding necessary, it was mostly about my understanding of the problems, and how I would go about solving them (I think this is now different, and the interviews may require you to write code for a simple problem)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked how to determine a path in a 2d array based on 2 points. Also how to turn a string into an integer (like "123"), and one other question that I can't remember now.
Applied from the linkedin and been reach out through email to schedule and Phone interview for the first round. The company team was mostly in Cananda and expected to expand their team in US.

Question 1
What is your work authorization and do you need sponsorship in the future.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Apryse in Oct 2022
Interview
The interview process was 3 rounds: recruiter, manager, and c-suite. I absolutely do not recommend anyone to join this train wreck. They have ZERO respect for employees. They wanted me to take the offer immediately, give my two weeks notice the day after, then immediately start the job. Then it would go into Christmas, but they expected me to take vacation days, while going through onboarding before the new year starts. The recruiter (let’s call her JZ) is also extremely manipulative. Saying I’m not willing to carve out time, when in fact they’re asking me to work for free before I officially start. Stay away from this private equity owned train wreck! You’ll clearly see red flags throughout the process.

Interview
I learned about the company at a career fair. I applied online. The recruiting process at PDFTron is fast.
The process consisted of 3 interviews. A phone screening where we went over the position, the culture, and my experience, and two technical interviews, where we went over my experience, technical questions and talked to the relevant department lead, and the founder during the last interview.
The interviewers made you feel comfortable, the interview felt like a conversation.

General programming questions (eg. polymorphism, design patterns).
General machine learning questions (eg. basic concepts, familiarity with CNNs, model training).
