The interview process initially felt very positive. I completed an HR interview, a Hiring Manager interview, a 1.5-hour technical interview, and then moved to the final interview stage. Unfortunately, the director did not attend the final interview, and after following up multiple times over the course of a week, I was informed by HR that while she was on holiday, the position had been closed internally and candidates were not notified.
While I understand that internal priorities can change, the lack of communication during the final stage made the experience disappointing, especially after the amount of time and preparation invested throughout the process.
