      I interviewed at Arro (CA)

      Interview

Unethical and unprofessional interview process in bad faith. No update after 4 interviews and a 3 hour case study which was expected to be returned within 10 hours. I just don't understand how you can expect all this time spent and then just go on to ignore a candidate. This is just blatantly disrespectful and predatory of Arro to steal the work of candidates and to just waste everyone's time and efforts. Strung along with no decision is simply pathetic. Interview process as follows: Met with hiring manager, each of the two co-founders. We moved onto a high-level, yet detailed 3 hour case study, then reconnected with around some of my answers. I was led to believe there was potential to meet a couple of other team members, but from then on, I never heard back on an update for the position despite them promising that I should hear from them "soon". Absolutely no excuse to not send a "we're still wrapping up our interview process" or to provide a basic timeline for a decision, which is the bare minimum expected from any company, startup or not. They are only interviewing candidates in order to generate free ideas for themselves. It baffles me and I cannot understand how Arro refuses to provide the most basic form of decency in terms of any feedback. If you're still interviewing others or if a candidate is no longer in consideration, a simple sentence to update is the least you can do given the time commitment by both sides. Never in my career have I not received an update or timeline after a case study to show where the two sides align. It is through these actions that it is very telling about where this startup is headed. An inefficient marketing funnel, lack of organization, tied together by disrespect of candidates and theft of work generated so they can attempt to use it for themselves. Truly disappointing and disgraceful. Don't waste your time applying at Arro for any position, unless you are in the business of giving away free work and ideas.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Draft a 3 month content calendar based on key target audiences relevant for Arro customers. Pick 3-5 channels for content, and how would you generate engagement and create a community around Arro? Include a user acquisition strategy through paid advertising. Which platforms would you leverage and why? How would you approach testing different platforms? Building off of the content calendar, define two organic social media campaigns and put together one asset for each (video, graphic, etc.).
