Ascend Strategy & Design interview questions

I recently went through an interview process for a position at Ascend, and I was deeply disappointed by the overall experience. After successfully passing the initial stage, I was invited to submit a video answering the question, "Why do you want to work here?" I took the time to craft a thoughtful and engaging response, confident that I had made it to the next step. However, a few days later, I received an email stating that I was not selected for the role. The most frustrating part of this was that I learned that they had never even reviewed my video! It’s disheartening to think that applicants are told they've made it to the next round only to have their efforts completely disregarded. To me, this reflects a lack of professionalism and respect for candidates’ time and effort. Why ask for a video submission if you’re not going to view it? It's a waste of both parties’ time and leaves a negative impression of the company's hiring process. I’m genuinely surprised at the lack of consideration and transparency, especially after being told I had progressed in the process. I would highly advise anyone applying to Ascend to be cautious, as this experience felt more like a formality than a fair and thorough evaluation process
