I was reached out by one of their managers on one of the job boards. We scheduled a phone call, which went well. During the phone call he told me that the next step in the interview process will be a take home exercise, which should require about 6 hours to implement. Right after a call the task felt into my inbox. 2 days later I sent him my solution. He didn’t respond for another couple of days, but then finally sent me an email saying that he received my solution and will get back to me with the results in another 2 days. He didn’t, so I pinged him myself and he didn’t respond. Another week passed and I almost forgot about this, when I finally got a response from him, saying that they decided not to continue interview process with me. I asked them to provide some feedback about my solution (after all I spent about 6 hours of my life for their exercise, so I guess it would be honest if I could get at least some feedback), but I’ve never heard back. Total waste of time.
