My first interview was with the head of school, because it was for a position reporting directly to the head of school. In addition to me and the head of school, the assistant head of school and a secretary were in the room.
From a list of prepared questions, the head of school and assistant head of school gave me questions in rapid-fire style, asking that I keep my answers short and quick. The secretary took notes. They were questions related specifically to educational philosophy, classroom management, and working with reluctant readers. It was stressful but still a pleasant meeting.
