Interview was going pretty well at the beginning. While I went on and answered usual questions about my experience, it then got to the point where I had gotten to ask questions. I then started making my way through the list of questions I had written down to ask them. I had gotten about 3 questions in and then all the sudden I felt uneasy because then it felt like they were getting flustered by the questions I was asking. Like I was trying to steel their business or something. I was asking pretty standard questions revolving around my day to day responsibilities and also the goals of their post production. I was then asked if I could do a test by the next day, and I wasn't prepared to do a test with how extensive my portfolio already was, and I didn't have time that day to do it. I tried to work with them to try and get them a test by that following Monday but that wasn't enough. I could tell this company was definitely the fast and cheap but not good type of company and I did not want to make content for a company such as that.
Also the job was advertised as hybrid, but it definitely was not a hybrid job. With only being able to work from home 24 days out of the year. They also wanted me to do digital design work, email design, & development THAT WERE NOT in the job description for no extra pay.
Long story short I never reached back out to them because I didn't feel valued for my skills, or even my time.
