      Account Manager Interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Atria (NY) (New York, NY) in Jun 2024

      Interview

I'm extremely disappointed in my interview experience with Atria. They originally reached out to schedule an in person interview which ended up being a video interview a few days after our initial email. After this, I received an email about a week later for a second round over video which turned into being in person. I sent over my availability and noted a day later that I was no longer available at a day and time I had sent over but the rest of my availability was correct.I then receive an email on a Saturday asking me to come in at the one day and time I was not available and switched my schedule around to come in. To add as well, I offered 8 days and multiple large time slots but still made the effort to came in. I was told I would be meeting with someone from HR and the calendar invite noted a 30 minute meeting. Upon arrival, while everyone was very kind I was told I would be meeting with 6 people and ended up being there for 3 hours. This is incredibly disrespectful to spring on someone in the moment as I only allotted a max of 1 hour being there to be on the safe side. I now had to cancel any engagements for the remainder of the day as I did not know how long I'd expect to be there. This was also not the final interview, I would still need to meet with their CEO at a later date should I have moved forward. A big note to Atria: be transparent with those coming in and be respectful of their time which you were not with me. Two days after this, I received a call at 8:30pm from someone from HR noting they believed I would be a better fit for a different role. Something I was very clear about was only being available between typical 9-5 hours M-F and the role they noted required late night and weekend flexibility which I did not have. I agreed to meeting via video with the team the day after and noted I'd be happy to be flexible (given I needed a job and the salary/benefits were great) Two and a half weeks later, I decided to give the HR person I've been in communication with a call who noted I'd receive a response by the end of the week (two days were left in the week) I never received a reply and it's been almost two weeks later. It is clear this company does not respect the people they interview or take into account their time. I would highly suggest staying away from applying or considering working here given the unpleasant experience and complete ghosting. Shame on them.
