Quick phone call with the founder of the company. He was pretty much just looking to see if you had any interest in working for a startup and what group you would fit best in.
The process was pretty easy and fast. The interview only consisted of one short phone call that felt like a conversation. I was asked about my background, academic/professional interests, reason for applying, etc.
