Summer/Fall of 2020 interview: Could have been over zoom but asked me to come in and to remove my mask. Job was advertised as in office bcba but was in home. Job advertised full benefits but they said it was not guaranteed. Asked inappropriate questions: if I was married, had children, plan to have children (as this would effect my ability to work). Asked my ethnicity and then were disappointed I didn’t speak Spanish (I did not put that on my resume.) They boasted that they had a large male staff, as men were better at the job as they could physically manage the clients more easily. (A lot of issues with that statement…) They could not tell me how many clients I would have but gave a ballpark of 20. I also asked about collaboration between BCBA’s in terms of support and resources. Their response was a BCBA should be trained enough to work alone. Turned the job down and then they called me a year later because they “received my resume” Probably the worst interview I’ve ever experienced.
