I interviewed with Paula Love, RN, BSN - the Program Director for Oregon (and multiple other areas of expertise for Avamere) and the Interim Administrator. It was one of the most comfortable interviews as I have an extensive background with Teaching Nursing Assistant programs. If the Interim Admin. had not told me, I never would have known that one of the continuum of communities was currently in survey with Oregon -CCMU at the time of the interview. That tells me a lot about the people I will be working with. The interview was very specific to the position and this is always appreciated as many HR interview processes ask unrelated obscure questions to "test your mettle". This was warm and welcome. There are areas of their techniques that I would like to emulate when interviewing candidates for classes.
