I first had an interview with HR, which included questions about my experience, background, and interest in the teaching position. After that, I moved to the second stage, which included a remote teaching demonstration and a Cambridge IGCSE material test. I was only given one day to prepare both the teaching demo and study for the material test, which felt rushed considering the amount of preparation expected. After completing the second stage, I waited around three weeks without updates and eventually had to follow up myself to ask about the result. HR replied quickly afterward with an apology mentioning "unforeseen circumstances," which did not feel genuine, and the message contained multiple grammar and spelling mistakes, which came across as unprofessional. It was frustrating that candidates who had already completed the second stage were not given timely updates, especially since this likely involved only a small number of applicants. Overall, the process lacked communication, organization, and professionalism.
