      Chief Operating Officer Interview

      May 15, 2021
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Brooklyn, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at BRIC (Brooklyn, NY) in Sep 2020

      Interview

The interview process was rigorous but disjointed. The process took months, and I was surprised to hear that I was being considered more than one month after I applied for the position. I never spoke with a person until I reached out to find out where I stood, even though I had been a finalist for the position. I was contacted one and a half months after my last interaction or "interview". BRIC used a third party who ran the process (personality tests, essay responses, etc.), and it was all conducted online.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

One entire "interview" asked me to respond to the job description which was broken up into 60 statements (not questions, per se). For example, one of the statements was: Knowledge and understanding diversity, equity & inclusion
