I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Baird
Interview
Met the majority of my connections through campus recruitment, really easy to talk to and approachable people. Baird really emphasizes the traditional midwestern values of hospitality and treating each other with respect. On that note, there were no technical questions. All were behavioral/fit related.

Phone screen -> Behavioral Interview
Milwaukee campus recruiting contacts you and performs a phone screen. Mostly interested in finance/wealth management interest. Both interviews are completely behavioral. Differs at each branch, but fit is most important for summer interns.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Baird (Cleveland, OH) in Mar 2018
Interview
The interview process was not too stressful. I received a phone interview then was passed on to a specific team which I met with in their office. I interviewed with the full team and it was a nice mix of formal and conversational.
