I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Baker Tilly (Los Angeles, CA) in Feb 2023
Interview
I had a zoom meeting with the campus recruiter. Then, a week later I interviewed with a partner and a senior manager back to back. Everything was on Zoom. 2 days later, they called back and told me I got the job. Interview with partner/manager was super easy. They just talked about their own things, and asked me about my school, clubs, and work, and then let me ask them stuff. No behavioral or technical questions at all.
I had positive feedback from the interviewer. But didnt get the job. The interviewer was polite and respectful and I answered most questions. But I guess they were looking for something with more expertise in the area
I applied online. I interviewed at Baker Tilly (Kuala Lumpur) in Jun 2026
Interview
Group interview of 5 people. The interview process was turn based. They asked a series of questions and each person took their turn to answer the questions based on the order they decided (right to left or vice versa).

Questions about internship (Based on what you explained)
Explain an accounting standard of your choosing.
It was more of a casual conversation with three other people rather than a formal interview setting. The environment felt very relaxed and comfortable, and the interviewer was friendly, welcoming, and easy to talk to throughout the session.
