I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Baker Tilly (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2024
Interview
Unprofessional, they weren’t prepared as they switched interviewers the exact day. Asked useless questions, I feel like I was there to just waste time as they didn’t seem to want to hire.
I had a screening call with a recruiter, then a first round interview with 2 managers. There is one more interview with their manager. Hopefully there are no more steps after that.

Question 1
What is the difference between cash and accrual accounting and why does GAAP require this?
Good interview process. Team was very knowledgeable and asked good questions. Manager I interviewed with was nice and answered my questions throughly. Work life balance and benefits seemed good. Decided to accept a different job due to location
Overall the process went smoothly, but the initial interview took longer than expected to initiate. However it was a great experience overall. The recruiters were super helpful and supportive. I would recommend for entry level jobs.
