Two step process, one video call with the hiring manager, followed by a panel call. I really enjoyed meeting everyone and sharing my background. And I'm not shocked I didn't land the job; while I felt qualified, it would have been a step up in terms of responsibility and title, and if they found someone more senior, that makes sense!
What was a little more frustrating was finding out that I didn't get the job via seeing that someone had gotten hired on Linkedin. What ever happened to letting candidates know? Is hearing nothing for a month and then reading the tea leaves the new rejection email?
Wish this team the best of luck -- it seems they do good work -- but try to prioritize communicating with candidates, even if they're a backup option.
