Very straightforward and easy. Everyone was organized and polite. The hiring process took less than two weeks. That’s including the first interview, to background checks, to onboarding/actual start date. Quickest turnaround I’ve ever experienced at a financial institution.

Standard questions about relevant banking experience as well as customer service tactics. Things like “give an example of a difficult customer you worked with” to “tell us, what would your game-plan as a banker if you were hired here”

Interview
I interviewed for a position at Banner Bank and found the process thorough and professional. After applying online, I went through an initial phone screening where I was asked behavioral and industry-specific questions. There was also a personality assessment that tested financial knowledge and customer service. Awaiting next steps, but so far, it was a positive experience, with a good balance of technical and cultural evaluation.
