Such strange vibes from this company. First "interview" was a zoom *webinar* -- meaning no candidates microphone or cameras were turned on. Showed a 2 minute, pre-recorded video from the "hiring director" (no name given), that just directed candidates to fill out another survey. Told us they'd schedule us for a "second interview" the next morning at 8AM. I get scheduled for an 8AM interview, only to get stood up by the person I was supposed to meet with. I get a text from them (calling me the wrong name, by the way) saying that the meeting was the NEXT day at 8AM. I show up just to see what will happen, and I get asked a single question: "tell me about yourself. keep it to 60 seconds though." The next 45 minutes was a sales pitch of why I should want to work there. Compensation options were $15/hr. OR $180 base + commission. Commission sounded like the sales person would keep 100% of the "donation" allotted for the company we're "marketing" for. Who is hiring this company? How is anyone making any money? On top of being disorganized and disrespectful, it sounds like an MLM more than anything else. Passing out brochures in a Trader Joe's parking lot hardly sounds like an "events-based-marketing company" to me.
