      Interview

      Interview Process: I participated in a multi-round interview process for a strategic, analytics-focused role at Batory Foods. The process included an initial screening with Talent Acquisition, followed by multiple interviews with leaders across Sales, Strategic Programs, Continuous Improvement, and Strategic Accounts. The interviewers were professional, engaged, and knowledgeable, and the conversations themselves were generally thoughtful and substantive. Interview Content: The discussions focused on analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, process improvement, and supporting strategic initiatives. I appreciated the depth of conversation, particularly around data analysis, continuous improvement, and how the role would partner with Sales and Operations. Several interviewers spoke positively about the company culture and their personal experiences at Batory, which suggested a people-focused environment. Communication & Feedback: While the interviews were positive, communication during the later stages of the process was disappointing. After completing multiple interviews and investing significant time, I did not receive a status update for nearly two weeks and ultimately had to follow up to receive closure. Additionally, the decision was communicated without any constructive feedback on areas for improvement or why I was not selected beyond an automated "you werent selected email". Overall Impression: Batory Foods appears to have strong leadership and a positive internal culture; however, the lack of communication and feedback at the conclusion of a lengthy interview process was disappointing. For candidates who advance through multiple rounds, clearer timelines and meaningful feedback would significantly improve the experience and reflect greater transparency. Advice to Management: Consider providing timely updates and brief, constructive feedback to late-stage candidates. Transparency at the end of the process helps ensure a respectful and professional candidate experience.
