I was contacted by the firm's Senior Operations Manager to select a phone interview time. I selected a time, and recieved very brief confirmation from her via email. I enjoyed the interview, and felt our conversation went well and was comfortable and free-flowing. I e-mailed my interview notes that afternoon as requested, and received another short (less than a sentence) response. Fast forward 2 weeks, and I still had not heard back. I reached out to the Operations Manager again, and got my longest email yet from her, rejecting me. While rejection is never something you hope for, most humans have a certain degree of professionalism and common courtesy that would lead them to inform someone of the results of an interview. Apparently, this company lacks such professionalism and common courtesy. Everything happen for a reason.
