Bench Media interview questions

Applied online and got a response fairly quick asking for a phone interview. Bench has to do better job in defining job title/description because their definition is different from other countries out there and according to their in house recruiter, an "Account Executive" translates to a "Coordinator" in the "Australian market" which I felt offended over the call. It is immature and insensitive to prequalify a candidate without asking further questions than to throw someone a blunt statement without much prior research. I found this quite laughable since this is coming from someone who is the face of an "award winning" start up. Do a quick search on LinkedIn/Seek and it will give you a different answer across all sorts of tech companies out there for a better definition of the title itself. Compensation wise they are definitely on the low side for Sydney.

I had an initial call with the talent specialist, then there were two interviews. The first interview was about 45 minutes with questions, the second I presented to two of their team members. The process was well structured and allowed me to get a good idea of how the company operated, and the type of work I'd be doing.
