I applied online. I interviewed at Benchmark Mortgage
Interview
I applied to their open position and got a message to schedule a prescreen call just a few days later. I talked with a recruiter who was nice and great to talk to and she told me all about the company and core values. It was great. I get told about next steps and to be on the lookout for updates to schedule the following interviews the next week. I get a reply back within the hour telling me that my application is closed because they decided they were no longer wanting that position in the company. Left a sour taste in my mouth. They really couldn't have known that earlier? The initial interview was over an hour long just to be told they were scrapping it. I'm not sure if they were being honest or not since I still see the job up on job boards. I would have rather them told me that they moved with different candidates if that was the case since "honesty" is apparently one of their sub-core values.

Question 1
explain your resume to me. why did you leave your previous positions?
Two interviews, moved fairly quickly, seamless process. I appreciated that not only did I get to meet the team I'd be working with, I met with someone from the executive leadership team as well.
