I was initially scheduled for an interview at Bexorg, but it was suddenly cancelled without any explanation from the recruiter or the company. A few months later, a different recruiter reached out to me for the same role, and all the requirements they listed matched my profile perfectly.
However, after a few days, that recruiter informed me that because I was not considered previously, the company would not be considering me again, and they had no additional feedback from the company’s side. I then followed up with the original recruiter, who told me that the reason for my rejection was that I “do not have methods development experience,” which is factually incorrect, as I have authored top-cited methods papers in the field.
Overall, this was a disappointing experience with poor coordination between recruiters and the company, lack of transparency, and inaccurate assessment of qualifications.
