I was asked to fill out questions online, sent an assessment, and then had a telephone interview. The assessment itself was ridiculous for an associate data analyst position. The python code was an actual screenshot of code they use and was really poorly written. I should've withdrawn from candidacy at this point. I passed the assessment and was sent a FAQs page about the job. It talked about their goals for 2021 (it's about to be 2023) and explained that the position was vacant because most people who accepted the position left in a year or two. It said they had one day a week they get to work from home (the position was posted as remote). Pretty much no one read what they attached or updated it. More red flags. I was selected for an interview. It was terrible. The KID doing the interview awkwardly laughed at my questions and was unprepared to answer them. They were standard questions - ex. What trait do you feel is most important to be successful within this position and company? He was unprofessional and unequipped to be interviewing someone. Then a business day and a half later they reached out and said the position was filled. It made me feel as if they already had the candidate and I was just a box to check for an interview. I am grateful that I did not move to the next round. I would honestly never apply to this place again as it was clear they don't really know what they are doing.
