    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Big Blue Swim School (Buffalo Grove, IL) in July 2015.

    Interview

They bring you in and ask you if this is something you are comfortable with doing. Not extreme at all, they are very eager for employees due to turnover so it doesn't take much to be accepted. They will give you the basics of all the benefits of the job but don't give you any damning details, so be sure to ask specific questions about PTO and time off, ect. because they won't tell you until its too late and you've taken a week off to find out you don't get paid.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Big Blue Swim School (Wilmette, IL) in December 2016.

    Interview

Pretty standard, they bring you in and ask you a few questions about yourself. The impression I got was that they were trying to get a read on me as a person more than actually figuring out if I was experienced in the field or not. They hired me on the spot after some very obvious filtering questions (what would you do if a child hit you during a swim lesson and things of that nature)
