Interview
Really laid back! Got referred by a coworker. Set it up via email and went to the shop for interview. You chat with the owner for a few minutes about the job.

Interview
Interview was awkward and a waste of time.
The guy interviewing me seemed like a college kid, and he didn't ask any questions about my resume -- he just gave me a general description of the job. It was highly unprofessional, and maybe a bit rude.
Despite waiting 20 minutes for him to arrive, I was in and out of there in like 5 minutes. I definitely get the impression they evaluate candidates based solely on looks -- do you have the "lifeguard" aesthetic, or not? Just a heads up for anyone who's applying here.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Bike and Kayak Tours
Interview
Applied online through craigslist. Was brought in for an in person interview and given the job on the spot. They wanted to see that you are able to speak publicly and confident on the ocean as well. Interview was a ride a long where you trail behind a tour and watch / listen to the position you hope to be filling.
