I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bintang Capital Partners in Jan 2023
Interview
Stage 1: Recorded Video Interview
- This was a video interview round where candidates were to submit their responses on a website. There was sufficient time to think, and chances were given to rerecord answers, which I find helpful.
Stage 2 & 3: Zoom Interviews with key people related to the role.
-Other than the general questions, I was also tested with some basic financial knowledge and simple case studies done verbally.
Stage 4: Physical interview with CEO
- A chat session with the CEO. This was a stage to learn more about the company, the story of the CEO and his passion to create an impact through investing.
Stage 5: Phone interview with key people related to the role.
- Additional chat session.
I applied through email. The application process took roughly a month to complete. The process can be shortened depending on the availability of both parties.
The team and the candidate get to know more about each other mutually through the interviews, allowing us to have a little more understanding of the company culture. The atmosphere was great, the team was serious during the interviews but were also helpful and friendly. I personally learnt more by having multiple interviews, gaining more experience in interviewing throughout the process.
Special note to mention is that the Chief of Staff also helped out a lot throughout the process, managing the schedules and being really prompt in responses.
