I was sent a DM on LinkedIn with a very brief half page description of the role stating that I would be a great candidate. A 30 minute call with a woman who apparently to be calling from overseas overseas took place. While the interviewer had my resume and LinkedIn profile 15 minutes into the interview the interviewer mentioned that a core requirement was higher ed experience which I clearly had none of. During the course of the interview she was playing on her phone with dial tones constant through the course of the interview. She was brusque, rude,unprofessional, and condescending. 15 minutes into the interview she stated a core requirement was higher education which obviously I had none of. It was never mentioned on my resume, LinkedIn profile, or by me thus the interview should never have been scheduled. Highly unprofessional to see the least. This is largely an overseas shop or a call center is located in India and little if nothing more than that.
