First interview was a phone interview, second was Skype but there was a technical difficulty so it ended up being a phone interview again, third was in person. I had a very positive experience, everyone was friendly and kind except when they never said anything even though they said they would "let me know either way". I sent an email to check in and was ignored. I can take a hint but I just feel it's rude and unprofessional to not at least say "We have gone a different direction" especially when I took time out of my work day for the interview(s).
