- First was the HR interview, pretty basic.
- Second interview was with two members of the tech team. The interview was pretty technical. They asked me questions about previous experiences and to justify my technical choices.

Why did you use a deep learning model to forecast time series>
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bloom & Wild in Aug 2024
Interview
A much lengthier process than I would have liked and took a lot of time out of my days and weeks. They did push me through all the stages swiftly which made things a little better. No parts were particularly hard but having around 5 stages of interview for a mid level position seemed quite excessive.
1st round (30 mins): People person interview - very standard affair, nothing crazy
2nd round (45-1hr): Hiring manager and 1 other manager - Also quite standard, nothing too technical but more about your experience
3rd round (45-1hr): Technical interview with coworkers - A weird stage to have considering there is another technical test and interview to come... but also not too difficult and was based a fair bit on projects you have already completed/mentioned on your CV
4th round (1hr): Technical test and interview - Quite a vague and open ended technical task and unless you have previously worked on a similar problem, can be a bit confusing to understand. They also gave no ball park figure of how long one should spend on it and I spent a total of around 7-8 hours on it. It was challenging but not impossible and I probably made it harder for myself than needed.
5th round (30-45mins): CTO interview - bit more of a culture fit style interview but still some biztech style questions to go for it.
Again, not hard, not easy, but definitely time consuming. Everyone was very nice and I would've found it a fulfilling job I am sure but by the end of the process I was exhausted.
