I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg (New York, NY) in Sep 2025
Interview
I applied online and was contacted for an initial interview with HR. The HR interview was straightforward and focused mainly on my background and experience.
After that, I was invited to take a technical writing pre-test. The assessment consisted of two writing tasks that were highly specific and required clear, concise documentation skills. The questions were more challenging than expected and very detailed. Unfortunately, I did not score high enough to advance to the next round.
Overall, the process was organized and moved quickly. Communication from HR was prompt and professional.
