      Marketing Interview

      Oct 5, 2023
      Anonymous employee
      London, England
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg (London, England)

      Interview

4 stage interview process going up in level of seniority within the team. The first one was with HR. My contact in HR kept me updated throughout the whole process which went reasonably quick. The interview was relatively informal where I had the opportunity to talk through my CV and ask any questions.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg (Singapore) in May 2022

      Interview

At first communication with the HR team was lovely. They walked me through the process in a friendly and respectful way. During 2nd round, the interviewer (hiring manager) didn't show up at the scheduled time, neither did he offer any explanation. He didn't communicate with me at all thereafter. I had to reach out to the HR department trying to find out why. I was then told by HR that the hiring manager had some emergency coming up. Okay, so the interview was rescheduled 1 month later because he was out of work for a month. When he finally came back, this time he was late for the interview. During the conversation, he appeared very distracted as if speaking to me is some sort of extra work for him that he´d rather avoid. The lack of enthusiasm put me off. I enjoyed working with their recruiting team, but certainly not the conversation with the hiring manager.
