I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg in Apr 2011
Interview
I obtained the interview opportunity through its Event Career hold in the company. It was a great event, people are friendly and patient about whatever your questions about Bloomberg. Then they sent me an telephone interview invitation soon, which lasts almost exactly 30 mins. Both competency questions and financial technical questions, such as why do people use call option. And also current affairs, which are asked to check whether you are really interested in what is going on in the market.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
If your friend has never heard of Bloomberg, how do you tell him about this company? What do we do.
Interview with HR discussing role and how my experience as a relationship manager can translate into the role. It was fairly straightforward to learn my motivation and if i would suit the role.
Few stages starting with a telephone screen. Remain curious and personable throughout. It's worth more than knowledge. Learn a little bit about the product you're looking to sell. You'll be ok.

Question 1
What would you say to a prospect that tells you your product is too expensive?
Challenging, grilled by two senior sales reps on several topics. No technical questions, almost only motivation. They want to make sure you're committed and mentally ready for the job and the 6-months training.
