      Marketing Director Interview

      Apr 27, 2023
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Ann Arbor, MI
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at BlueConduit (Ann Arbor, MI) in Mar 2023

      Interview

It was a 30-minute phone call with one of their most senior executives. This person was unprepared, nervous, and extremely awkward. Needless to say, I was left with a horrible first impression. What's worse, despite being told I'd be moved forward, I was ghosted, No response to my "thank you" email and no "sorry we've decided to go another direction" note. Listen, I know no one is a fit for every role. Cool. I'm not cool with being ghosted, especially when I've taken the time to prepare for and do an interview that potentially benefits the employer. What's worse, this is a senior executive which tells me their culture is flawed. I know the company and many who would consider working there. If I'm asked about the company, I'll share my very negative feelings and experience.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The basic stuff, experience, success, biggest mistakes and what'd you learn from it, biggest success and why, what I'm looking for in my next role. Very interview 101.
