The interviewer was blunt, uninterested and the opposite of welcoming. I've never felt more uncomfortable in an interview. I asked questions about the poor Glassdoor reviews, some of the themes presented in these reviews and about the high turnover in a specific area of the business. The interviewer laughed and described the poor reviews as funny, and when I asked what are they're doing to improve they said there's nothing they can do, it's just the industry and the way the business works. I've never had such a poor interview experience. I'd really suggest improving your communication with candidates prior to interviews, making them feel at ease during the interview and taking an genuine interest in what they're saying.
